May 8 - CONGRATULATIONS MARY ANDREWS AND SAKURA HILL ENCORE!
Today is the day that Corey makes his journey to his new home, and his new life, in Alpharetta, GA to live with his new owners Mary and Wayne. We could not be more happy for them! We've had a chance to spend some time with Mary and have to say she is now the nicest person we know! She is an amateur event rider and plans to show Corey in the Young Horse Trials beginning in September. She will bring him up through the levels until he can be competed under saddle.
Thank you Mary for providing Corey with such an amazing future. We know he will have exceptional care and training.

May 7 - Rocky and Felix were stars in RMI Breed Classes!
We could not have been more proud of our young horses and their performances at the RMI series show May 7, 2010.
Rocky, "My First Kiss" bred and owned by Sauer Stables, was 2nd and 3rd in his 2 year old classes and 3rd Best Young Horse.
Felix, "Whiskey River", owned by Philip Mercadante, won both his yearling classes and was 3rd and 4th Best Young Horse!
Their behavior was outstanding and they were up against some tough competition! Congratulations to Rocky and Felix!

December 2009 - We have a new truck and trailer! Thank you Maja (Peggy McCormick) for
helping us secure our new 4 horse trailer and the big truck we needed
to pull it! This trailer is perfect for shipping every type of horse
and going to any type of show. It even has an air conditioner in the
tack room. Perfect for those hot summer days!
November 6, 2009 - Liza is here! We are so excited to have "Tantalize" as one of our beginner broodmares. She is out of Dutch Warmblood stallion "Just The Best" and an amazing Thoroughbred mare "Jigalores". She has exceptional hunter movement and LOVES to jump. Laura is currently training her to show at HITS 2010 and look for her first foal in 2011.

November 5, 2009 - Congratulations Lacey on finding her new home with
Lori and Mandy Hansen! Lacey will be a trail horse for Mandy and a
companion for a Thoroughbred gelding who lost his horse friend earlier
in the year. We already miss her but know she will be loved and very
well taken care of at her new home!

October 31, 2009 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
October 29, 2009 - Laura rode Cholito today! He is so easy to work
with. He walked in the open and even did a little trotting. He is a
really fast learner and Laura fits him very well. He seems to know
his job and aims to please. Tricia, you may not get him back!

October 27, 2009 - Bendi is
here! We've been waiting for her to come from Virginia and she has
finally arrived. Bendi is a very special horse. She was found a few
years ago with distocia (mal-presentation of the fetus) and when they
finally pulled the foal out of her she flew into the stall wall and
broke her lower jaw. She spent the next three years at Rugby Creek
Animal Rescue with Ashley and her crew where she had several operations
and took a much needed break. Early this month Laura saw an ad stating
that her funding had run out. We decided we wanted to help her and
contacted them immediately. We are now fostering her for the winter or
until she finds a forever home. Bendi cannot be ridden because she has
laminitis but she is pasture sound and getting along great with her new

October 24, 2009 - We received a new horse in training today. Cholito
is an amazing mover with a ton of personality! He is only two but he
is sensible and talented and we are so excited to start him under
saddle. He's become fast friends with George and Tyler and enjoys the
ground work so far.
October 22, 2009 - Today Laura
rode George for the first time and he was amazing! He is so easy to
ride - a nice, big, floaty trot and the most comfortable canter. He is
definitely ready to start teaching new students how to ride and we feel
so fortunate to have him in our program. We don't think it will be long
before he's showing off his stuff in the show ring!
October 17, 2009 - Gilligan!!
Check out Renan's new horse - we have very high hopes for our newest
addition. Gilligan is a 3 year old registered Thoroughbred from our
client Tricia Zimmerman. He has unbelievable athletic ability and
scope. We have started him under saddle and will definitely keep you
posted on his progress. Look for Renan and Gilligan to hit the show
circuit in 2010!
October 15, 2009 - We have a new lesson horse! Sir George, and his
little buddy Mahoney, have joined our family. Linda Conner responded
to our add for a lesson horse and we were promptly introduced to
George. As calm and sweet as he is we knew he would be perfect for our
beginner program. Standing next to him was the cutest mini we have
ever seen (Mr. Mahoney) and we just had to bring him home too!
Thank you Linda and Gary for allowing George and Mr. Mahoney to be a part of our farm!
George is available for beginner and intermediate lessons.
August 20, 2009 - Meet Rose - she is a 2 year old Thoroughbred filly
who is going to start her career with us as a broodmare. She is
extremely sweet and gentle, calm and low key. She is a great little
mover, very light and floaty on her feet. In the Spring we are hoping
to breed her to "He's True Blue" a phenomenal pony sire out of
Ponyville Farm.
August 1, 2009 -We recently
welcomed our new client Karen Duppke and her pony Lacey. She is
settling in very nicely and has already adjusted to her new routine.
