Welcome to Sauer Stables at Bourbon Hills Farm!
We have recently opened our new facility in Anthony, FL and are looking forward to serving our clients in Marion County and surrounding areas!
At Sauer Stables our focus is to strengthen the bond between horse and rider from the early stages of birth to the show ring. We work on the ground and in the saddle to create a strong foundation that produces top athletes, willing competitors and best friends.
We offer services for mares and foals, weanlings, yearlings and two year olds with specialized training programs geared for breed classes and inspections.
By combining individual exercise programs with daily handling and turnout, our young horses learn how to behave both in a herd environment and individually in their stalls. We emphasize good manners and social behavior in all of our horses and can work with any personality type to develop a confident champion.
We emphasize team effort and a relaxed working environment. Every member of our team plays a significant role in the development and training of each horse on the farm.
We include basic dressage training when starting a horse under saddle to improve balance, communication, and discipline.
